Drivers ed in Nevada

How to take a driver's ed course in Nevada

The Driving Course:

You can take the driver's ed course in Nevada at a high school or you can take a private course. Once you are 15 you can start.

The only way you are exempt from those options is if you live in a rural area where no class is offered within 30 miles of your home. You will then need to make up the hours you would've taken in the classroom by completing more behind-the-wheel hours.

The expectations for the course is 30 hours of instruction with at least 15 of those hours being in the classroom.

Once you finish your course you should receive a certificate of completion. Make sure to include that when you apply for your driver license or learner's permit.
